July 201012. Last Mass P.E. Lesson of the Year 2010 - 13th July 2010Final mass P.E. lesson of the year and after that, no more P.E. lessons for me in TJC. It came to me that only in TJC, P.E. lesson is really P.E., where you really run long distances and train and sweat. Compared to those lesson in primary and secondary school, they are much more slack to the extent that you don't sweat at all sometimes after lessons.
More or less P.E. lessons here have taught me about really being healthy and run, since in secondary school, I practically don't run on my own during off-school periods. At the very least, I do go for runs now and then even though I tend to procrastinate them.
Plus, I think the most memorable thing about P.E. is the P.E. teacher Mr. Goh, together with his favourite pet phrases (in his own epic tone) like "How many?" (especially when we are doing push-ups or sit-ups) and something like "We run together, we work hard together and we sweat together" (when he does a briefing or debrief). I promise, I'll continue to run to keep myself healthy. =)
13. P.E. Elective Programme: Archery - 14th July 2010This elective programme was an one-off programme and it also marks the end of the last group P.E. lesson of the year 2010. Last year's P.E. Elective was tennis and this time round is Archery! The previous time I played archery was sec 3 camp, when I used one for the left-handed. This time round, there wasn't any left-handed bows available, so I had the use the right-handed bow. Got used to the right-handed bow and now it feels weird to be using the left-handed bow. Okay i shall stop this discussion about left-handed and right-handed bows.
Hitting bull's eye isn't some easy feat you know! Took quite a shots to know that I need to literally aim, cause' I ain't aiming when I thought I was. At the end of the lesson, we had this mini competition between the different groups and my group won the game man! 58 shots in 3 rounds!
14. National Day Celebration in TJC - 6th August 2010This year's national day celebration is more or less like last year's, when we assemble at the parade square in the morning and then move on to the hall for celebration. I think quite a few of my classmates skipped National Day Celebration in school this time round. But what I could remember about this day was that we had fun making fun of Zong Yang during National Day Celebration in the hall, like singing to him and stuff.
15. Teachers' Day Celebration - 31th August 2010Similar to National Day Celebration, many of my classmates skipped this day and the small population of us were in the classroom having the party. The classroom was so big and we only only occupied like one-fifth of it? Haha nevertheless it was still fun going around to find our different tutors to give them the teachers' day cards with wishes from all of us. Oh and credits to Lian Ping for preparing those cards for everyone to pen down their words to each tutor a few days before Teachers' Day Celebration.
